The Launch of “SON DE OAXACA” in Oaxaca, Mexico

“SON DE OAXACA” mezcal is launched internationallyThe agreement was signed this Tuesday in the community of Santos Degollado, in the municipality of San Juan Bautista Guelache, Etla, and in the presence of special guests: the workers of the production plant, Palenque MMM.

The mezcal is produced by Grupo Sones, a one hundred percent Oaxacan company, which generates 60 direct jobs and 250 indirect jobs in the municipalities of Santiago Matatlán, Santa Ana del Río; Santa María Atzompa, San Dionisio Ocotepec and in Santos Degollado, Etla, respectively.





In the atmosphere, in the MMM Palenque in Santos Degollado, “Son de Oaxaca” was unveiled, a one hundred percent Oaxacan festive brand, with more than eight years of experience dedicated to the production of artisan mezcal.


In the ceremony and coexistence it was announced that Grupo Sones S.A. de C.V. provides maquila, packaging and commercialization services for alcoholic beverages, promptly meeting the requirements of its clients in accordance with the established specifications, maintaining a competent work team and committed to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and good practices of manufactures, thus complying with the applicable requirements of ISO 9001; 2015.


In this way, today Grupo Sones S.A. de C.V. launches its brand of mezcal “Son de Oaxaca” to one of the most competitive markets in recent years through its flagship product, artisanal, white mezcal, made with different magueyes, among which are espadín, tepeztate, tóbala, Mexican , arroqueño, cuishe among others.


During the launch of the Son de Oaxaca brand, the Commercial Director, Abimael Jasso F. highlighted that the mission of Grupo Sones S.A. de C.V., is none other than “Providing maquila, packaging and marketing services for alcoholic beverages with high quality standards, meeting the requirements and expectations of our customers.”


Along with the vision of him who outlines the purpose of; “To be a sustainable and socially responsible company, leaders in the production, packaging and marketing of alcoholic beverages at a national and international level, offering excellent quality products and services to our customers.”


This launch was attended by various personalities, including executives of the company HERMITAGE SPIRIT CORP. S.A., the exclusive worldwide distributor of the brand, represented by the president Claudia Schumann and Grupo Sones S.A. de C.V., as well as mezcalero teachers from the state of Oaxaca, among others.
